Self-Care for LMT’s – Tai Chi Breathing

This class is beneficial to anyone who desires to learn massage for home use with proper body mechanics. “Couples” may be any two people who want to learn simple massage techniques. Sign up with a friend, your sister, brother, parent, partner or spouse.
The fee for a couple is $150. There is a $20 discount for early registration completed two weeks before the beginning of the course. The course starts at 10 am and runs until 2 pm. Lunch is not included.

Self-Care for LMT’s – Taking care of the lower back
Introducing our four part self care series. Come join us for an hour as we explore the benefits of lower back stretching and exercises. The session will include practicing a number of movement.
There is no charge for this course and it is open to the public.
This 4 part series will focus on ways to care for yourself so you can care for others. We will discuss why sometimes it is good to be selfish. You will learn:
- Grounding and balancing your energy
- Exercises and stretching
- Breathing
- Time management and coping with stress
These short but informative classes are designed to build on each other, but if you want to just attend one class you can. $120.00 for the series or $40.00 per class.
The physical human response to stress and the triggers of stress are fairly well researched. Stress has become a constant companion for most people in the 21st Century. Still, we pay more attention to what we eat than to what is stressing us out. We take a brief look at common stressors, how to recognize stress in your life, and some simple tools to help cope with stress.
